About the event

Open Mic Day at Seven Bro7hers - In loving memory of Bethany Palmer.

All ticket money will go directly to Bethanys Just Giving page.

Join us for an amazing day of live music at Seven Bro7hers.

You know the script - Anyone and everyone can get up and perform, there's a free pint of Seven Bro7hers craft beer for anyone who's brave enough and we supply all the kit.

Please contact John Haycock Music to enquire about booking a slot, we want everybody to have the opportunity to perform at this one.

Social distancing rules will be in place, therefore please be cautious and stand 1m apart. No more than 6 people to a table. You will also sanitise on entry and all of the equipment will be sanitised between acts. This event will be held outside in our spacious yard area, with our outdoor stage. As a final note, staff will be advised to ask people politely to move away if these rules are ignored.

This event is in memory of Bethany Palmer - a beautiful and talented young girl, who had performed at our Open Mic night and Jam Nights at our Ancoats Beerhouse - and was then very quickly invited to perform at our twice yearly Beer Festival. Bethany took her own life a few months back, during lockdown. She had just confirmed a record deal. Her voice is absolutely incredible and we are all so sad that she is no longer with us. Our ongoing thoughts are with Bethany and her family , who are close friends of the family. Let's remember her, and her music - on this day.

Above is the link to Beth's song 'Pixel Screens' which she also wrote.

Also we will hopefully be live streaming the event, therefore anyone watching can donate to Beths Just Giving Fund.

Let's make it one to remember again! This will now be an annual event.
